Gorgeous is a formerly feral cat. He was three years old before he would let anyone touch him and didn’t become an indoor cat until he was six – after his nosectomy due to skin cancer. Now he loves people and insists that guests give him lots of love and attention.

One of the remarkable things that Gorgeous did, long before he would have anything to do with humans, was take care of and comfort Stash’s kittens while she was away at the vet getting spayed. As is typical of ferals, Gorgeous didn’t meow. But when those babies were scared and alone he mewed at them and followed them everywhere and played with them! This was before TNR, when he was still a tom.
